The removal process for the 1GR-FE lubrication system oil cooler starts with taking away the V-bank cover. Next, drain the engine coolant. You must now take out the oil filter sub-assembly. Unscrew the oil cooler assembly by disconnecting the oil cooler hose and No. 2 oil cooler hose connecting to its counterpart. Move on by taking away the union bolt combined with its plate washer and the actual oil cooler. The last step is to retrieve the O-ring present inside the oil cooler.
