  The installation of the intake manifold begins with applying a new gasket before tightening the intake manifold with two nuts and four bolts to 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf). After setting the ventilation hose in place users should connect the 4 wire harness clamps. The installation procedures for the Throttle Body assembly need to be properly followed. Secure the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly by installing its bolt then torquing it to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). Afterward install the breather hose along with the transmission oil level dipstick. Attach the oil cooler tube clamp after placing the outlet No. 1 and inlet No. 1 oil cooler tubes into the oil cooler tube union until fitting the No. 2 oil cooler tube clamp onto the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly with a bolt torqued to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). Install the outlet No. 1 oil cooler tube with a union nut wrench while using a spanner on the oil cooler tube union. Apply a torque of 34 Nm (347 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf) when performing without the wrench or apply 32 Nm (327 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf) with wrench use. Administer the same installation procedure for the inlet No. 1 oil cooler tube. The installation order includes the engine oil level dipstick followed by the starter assembly and the flywheel housing side cover with the injector vibration insulator below it. The sequence also includes the No. 1 delivery pipe spacer that leads to the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly and its accompanying fuel tube sub-assembly then fuel pipe clamp. Laser cut wire harness bracket then engine wire harness and finishing with an air cleaner cap sub-assembly that includes a hose.   Before handling the intake manifold of 2ZR-FE engines it is essential to discharge fuel system pressure. First disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal before removing the engine under covers from both left and right sides. The first step includes draining engine coolant followed by taking off the No. 2 cylinder head cover. Starting with step two requires removal of the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with attached hose followed by disconnecting the engine wire harness. Then remove the harness bracket. First disconnect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose and vacuum hose before unclipping and disconnecting the fuel tube sub-assembly components. The first step involves removing the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly before taking out both the No. 1 delivery pipe spacer along with the injector vibration insulator. Use a union nut wrench to detach both inlet and outlet No. 1 oil cooler tubes from their union while gripping the tube union with a wrench before removing its bolt and tube clamp. First disconnect the breather hose from the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly and remove the bolt along with taking out the dipstick. First disconnect the engine oil level dipstick and the Throttle Body assembly. The last step requires the removal of intake manifold and intake manifold stay through separating 4 bolts and 2 nuts with ventilation hose disconnection and 4 wire harness clamp separation.
